Robert Watt is Departmental Lecturer in the History of Philosophy at the University of Oxford, attached to Trinity College.  He was previously a Lecturer at the University of Cambridge and a Junior Research Fellow at Christ Church, Oxford.  He was awarded a DPhil in Philosophy by the University of Oxford in 2014.  Before that he took a BPhil in Philosophy at Balliol College, Oxford and a BA in Politics, Philosophy and Economics at Magdalen College, Oxford.

His academic research focuses on the theoretical philosophy of Immanuel Kant.  He also has interests in ethics and political philosophy.
